Make it easy for my occasional guests to use facilities.?  I'd be willing to pay small fee.

Larger swim area for toddlers, young children, with fountains/small slides, etc.

I think with some of the children reaching the teen years and with the increase of vandalism we've noticed recently, it would be very beneficial to have a community/recreation center.?  I think we should provide positive activities or we will only see more and more vandalism, teenage drinking, etc.?  This would also help to bring the community back together, hopefully the way it was when we first moved in (95).?  With the current pool facilities being utilized by outside organizations, it seems that we have lost that area as a gathering spot.?  I regret not getting involved back when that decision was made.
I would like to see better homeownership monitoring at the pool gate.?  Many times I have walked in with no one in sight to check my badge.

Complete the veloway extension as promised by the Bradley/City agreement.

Consider recreational and/or competitive water polo or water volleyball. Consider upgrading locker rooms.

More lanes for lap swimming, clubhouse with pool tables, etc. for teens.

Free tennis courts.?  Small playgrounds spread throughout the neighborhood like Legend Oaks, Western Oaks, etc.

Would appreciate the pool to become self supporting.?  Seems the enormous cost to operate the pool is not being shared equitably by those who use it most often.

Keep having the holiday parties - miss the Christmas ones.

I'm really in favor of an indoor facility for basketball and volleyball.?  In fact, I would rather have this than the indoor pool.?  There is enough people in this community that would donate their time to help run the indoor facility so that our kids and teens can go and develop better skill.

We do not participate in any of the existing facilities and do not believe I should have to pay for them, especially since I have an in-ground pool.

If the services are provided by a 3rd party company (like CC Swimming) that have talented staff/instructors this idea has potential.?  A rock climbing wall has been successful in some areas, indoor soccer as well.

We are really interested in a spa type facility with massage, whirlpool, etc. along with exercise equipment.

Definitely would like a ''club'' area to have meetings, parties, etc. that was enclosed.?  I think the above ideas for expanded recreation would be great too!

I believe that fitness classes and spa services would be very well received.

I'd really like to see evening water aerobics return.

None.?  Focus on reducing cost saving on expense, eliminate water waste, and other waste.

A deep pool with a diving board.

Recreational area aimed at teens, possibly with an internet cafe area with computers.

1. Have landscape service done by commercial contractor, not private CC landscape. This would save money that could be used for items 2 - 4 below.?  2.?  Community center, including exercise room.?  This should be priority over second pool.?  Place it on vacant lot next to child dev center, even if it means buying back the land from developer.?  3.?  Playscapes. Currently only at Kiker & Slaughter Park.?  4.?  Bike trail connecting with veloway.?

I don't believe a HOA should be in the healthclub business.?  Our fees are high enough as it is.?  We need to concentrate on landscape maintenance.?  The area is going to hell.?  We still have a Santa flag at our mailboxes!?  It's February 12th!

If there are fees, I would want them very reasonable (low) for homeowners.?  Would not use if the fees were too high.?  I also think we should be able to bring guests to the pool free of charge.

KEEP CIRCLE C SWIMMING.?  It's the ONLY reason our family uses the swim center.

A Community Center...similar to Shady Hollow's.?  One that could be rented for parties etc.

In response to question # 3 (sic willing to pay a service fee).?  If it is a program or facility owned or run by the HOA then I think homeowners should have use for ''free'' - fee to use would be part of our annual HOA dues - but if offered by outside groups then we can choose to pay for the program.

More walking trails- off road - off payment

It's probably faddish, but skateboard area.

Indoor racquetball court.?  I would also like to see the mail facility moved away from the swimming pool area.?  The congestion caused by swimmers being dropped off and the lack of available parking make retrieving the mail a huge hassle.

I would like to just have an assigned number that we would use instead of membership cards.
Circle C North recreational facility or swimming pool.

Rock climbing area for kids.

More swimming space for residents in the existing pool that we pay for already!

Indoor lap pool.?  Childcare during lap swim or exercise classes.

Someplace for our teens to meet.?  Before I was willing to pay a fee for any services, I would want a complete financial accounting of where all our money was going and the rationale behind these decisions.?  I would also want to know if monies spent inappropriately elsewhere could be diverted.?

More space for recreational swimmers, especially children.?  For such a large pool, we have very little space to enjoy swimming due to swim team monopoly of the pool.

A water slide/s and diving board/s would be a great addition to the pool or at a new pool.

Adult softball, adult basketball.?  Health club and exercise room with weights, yoga, and aerobics.

More room for recreational swimming, not just 1/4 of the pool area.

Health club with weight equipment, cardio equipment, etc.?  It doesn't have to be a large facility; just something to accommodate the need.

Open lap swimming has always been wonderful (in the mornings and the late evening hours)

It's too cold (the pool temp) even in summer.

Club house - for meetings, parties, bridge, etc.

Health club; indoor lap & recreational pool **; child playscape & fountains; pavilion, more shade area; picnic area.

We moved to CC last Fall so haven't had an opportunity to determine what our needs will be, but I have answered as best I could on the probability of use the stated programs and facilities.?  Ice rink - perhaps in conjunction with City of Austin, Chapparell Rink or Dallas Stars folks. (Sic re: support & verification of membership cards) Isn't this already standard procedure?

Rooms for meetings, receptions, cards, showers, etc.; a classy ''dine in''/''take-out'' caf?©; movie theatre.

Horseshoe pits.

Please make ALL surveys, correspondence, etc. available to ALL residents.?  Not everyone has computers!

Nude sunbathing; nude volleyball. HA!HA!

Interesting, but ...

Thank you for posting these comments, Sal. It was interesting reading and these comments do tend to answer some questions that maybe weren't specifically asked in the survey.

I got through about 3 pages, but it is a lot of reading and really needs to be methodically compiled. Maybe (I hope) there is a committee working on that. I guess I'm not just going to assume that there is anyone trying to keep a secret here, just work onging to turn this survey into a really useful and clear report about how to proceed.

Sometimes I dread visiting this board due to lack of civility and respect (and I'm not trying to single you out, just a general comment :-)) I think it would be a shame if someone saw that you posted this and immediately tuned it out due to your by-line.

Anyway, thanks again - Mike
