The Community Players offer a Directors' Showcase

What do an oblivious private detective, a lonely southern boy obsessed with swizzle sticks, a surly waitress and a small town with a secret have in common? An exciting evening of theatre! The Community Players, now celebrating their 92nd season in Pawtucket, present an evening of one-act plays showcasing the work of four directors directing pieces by four top playwrights.

The Slater Park Fall Festival is a weekend that celebrates the beauty of the park and art - and includes activities at the Daggett Farm, Looff Carousel, the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and the historic Daggett House. Over 100 arts & craft vendors are showcased in this juried festival that also features an 'open air market' of food trucks, farmers market, craft, exhibitions, music and activities.
Rocktucket, hosted this Saturday on Main Street, will feature a number of bands, spirits, food and festivities.

Pawtucket Teachers' Alliance presents an Evening with the Philharmonic Pops. This final concert of the philharmonic's series features resident conductor Francisco Noya. Ronnie Dee & The Satellites begins at 4:30 pm. Concludes with Fireworks presented by Bristol County Savings Bank. (Rain date Sept. 16)
