What Attack?

''Why attack me again? You are supposed to 'respect my opinion'.''

I did not attack you Ms. White. I can respect an opinion but you were providing false information in your posting that needed to be corrected. I am sorry that you feel correcting the misinformation that you were providing is an attack.

''What guardrail are you talking about? The ones at the two bridges are the county. There are on throughfares.

If you are talking about the one at the carwash as being 1/2 the Villages, why not file an insurance claim for it's half? The new insurance DOES cover all property. Does it not?''

The guardrail is at the carwash. Half is the responsibility of Columbus and half is the Village's responsibility. The Village is not filing an insurance claim because the insurance policy does not cover guardrails. The money will come from the streets fund.

Ms. White wrote:
''Why has it taken 'some time' to find out about a simple guardrail? The wheels of progress do turn slow.''

Becuase there are three government entities involved. Franklin County was ready to fix the guardrail, but Columbus had to agree to allow them to fix it because the height of the guardrail had to be brought up to code and half of it could not be reparied without the other half. It does take time to get all of the parties involved to agree. If it had been all of the Village's responsibility it would have been taken care a while ago.

''I got my information from this web site about Dean Johnson. Terry Kuhn complained about the noise of construction several weeks ago. I still ask, who are Dean Johnson's friends in high places?''

I would confirm your sources before you speak. As to Mr. Johnson's friends, you would have to ask him.
You can go Home

My grandparents lived here until they passed on,my parents live here & I'm tickled to be back. Safety was never an issue living here. The police kept an eye out for us kids. In the turmoil of the 60's we were in a world all our own here. I look forward to being a positive, productive member of the village
Welcome to ''Dodge City''

Things were, as ''you'' said, different in the 60's and 70's. The same police officers are not there. The same chief is not there. The same mayor is not there.

On September 16, 2004 when the web site was brought back, Mr. Parrish said, the site would be different. There would be NO MORE anonymous postings. It is still as it was. It depends who you are.

If you can't even keep tell the truth about this, why should residents believe you that anything else is or will change?

If it is true that Mr. Parrish does not still control this site, why did he post the conditions for posting on this site? Why didn't the true coordinator post?

Why doesn't the mayor post the ''progress'' of Valleyview? Who controls him? He leaves it to others to defend his actions.
To New 2theview

I might be outofsight but I will NEVER be out of mind as long as certain people are in office in Valleyview.

The residents spoke to me of things they were afraid to tell to others. They trusted me to change things. When some of the corrupt thought I was to close, I was threatened.

I know who in Valleyview is ''taking care'' of things. They are the same ones who got the Village in the shape it is today. There are hold overs from Russolillo's time.

I don't live in Iraq, in California with earthquakes, in Aruba, in Africa, nor what was New Rome. How many of these places have you given your opinion? I know personally what went and goes on in Valleyview.I lived there 37 years, when it was good and now.

You must be one of the ''bunch'' who is protected by the ''investors''. As Watkins said, Irene will never know who you are. Who are you that you can post anonymously? A COWARD as is Watkins?
