Disappointed

I know that the group that really needs to read this will never see it but I am still going to post a comment.

I went to the Town Hall meeting yesterday, 2/24/07 and there was a great deal of discussion, positive and negative. The most disturbing came for a group in the back that kept bringing it up that it was all ''RACIAL'' I was rather disgusted with the constant verbal outburst of this type. It was hard to hear most of the time because of this ignorance.

I guess in every group you are going to have ''LOUD MOUTHS'' but to be disrespectful about it is a shame.

It was disrespectful to those who were trying to speak and deliver information. It was disrespectful to those of us who went to the meeting to learn what is in the planning. Most of all, once again we were shown the IGNORANCE that can be displayed by those most uninformed.

At the end of the meeting it appeared that Council Woman Kathleen Hicks was even disappointed of those who were speaking inarticulately, and usually unintelligibly! Just a group that was full of racial babble.

Thank you Council Woman Kathleen Hicks for bringing this meeting to the public.
