Code Compliance, let's target it

Code Comp = Business & Residents

I believe that both should be looked over at all times. All treated equal.

Blocking Traffic w/BB Hoops

I have looked into this in the past and was told that there is not a City Code against this but it is left for the FWPD to handle if there is a blocking of traffic. If you would like to have an official answer contact Code Complaince at 817-392-1234 or Contact Officer Gus Green via e-mail Agustus.Green@fortworthgov.org
PLEASE reply with an update as to what you find out so we all will know.

Education & Action

I love that idea - let's get some group education and then ask each person to identify someone or business that is is violation of that ordinance. I am new to the area and not always sure what is code and what is not but if I knew more, I could (and will) report more.
Great ideas - thanks for discussing!!

I believe there IS a City Ordinance...See City Code at www.fortworthgov.org look at 30.7....it states that you can't block city streets or sidewalks....call 911 and report it, say you want a ticket written! Get the operator # that you speak with and if police don't do something, send email to Chief Mendoza, Captain Sudan, Sgt. Stanford, Officer Green.

YES! The streets are made for moving vehicles!

If you need help, let me know and I will also email the police department. This is a Class C Misdemeanor to my understanding.
