We share our home with three dogs ,two cats and a russian tortoise.
Katie has been with us four years. She was adopted from animal control in Nashville, TN. A truck full of puppies on route to pet stores broke down and the air was left off. Nashville took them and they were on the news for weeks until they could be adopted. I waited in line for 10 hours and
by the time doors opened there were 500 people waiting to adopt a dog! She is a tricolor collie standard.
Sable is a beagle mix adopted from the Indy Humane Society.
Chloe is a jack russell terrier who was adopted from Animal Control. She only had to wait in the kennel 5 minutes before she was adopted.
Lynxie is a domestic longhair from the mountains of North Carolina.
Gypsy is a domestic short hair who was abandoned at the house we live in by the last people who lived here.
