Since you folks have named me the Big Bad Wolf, that's the name I will use. I'm surprised that with all of the "research" you have done you do not already know who some of the Broomfield citizens were who helped with the City and County Campaign. I think you already know. In any event, you will be hearing from them. By the way, why the need for personal insults? I thought you wanted to have a serious discussion about this matter. To date, I'm the only one who has offered a definition of ethical. It's not really mine, it's from Webster's. What's yours?

Can I be ill please?? Interlocken first class?? That my friend is a lie and a joke!! If YOU only knew what kind of stuff BF and Interlocken have done "under" the tables it would make your head spin!! The ONLY people they care about is themselves, money is no issue to them and if they can get what they want, by god they will!! And to heck with what the local people want!! And if you can prove that Interlocken got NOTHING from BF, please put it here, we want "FACTS" not just air!!

To begin, thank You for your response. I do much better with specific things to discuss.

I'm not a buisiness sort and so I may not be considering these things correctly. But I thought the reason large corporations contribute to a community - like building mega intertainment centers - is for the advertisement and for the good will it creates with the citizens - their potential customers ... and in turn they get increased business from those customers. Afterall, those companys sell something to people - customers. It MUST pay off to them in some way - or else they just wouldn't do it.

Interlocken, on the other hand, did not build an intertainment center for their potential customers. They financed the promotion of a governmental structure. This is the part that doesn't set well with me. Who is the customer that they are romancing - creating good will with. I don't think it's the citizens - I think it's some officials with the power to do favors for Interlocken. Many a corporation has expended big $ to aquire political support, backing, defense, etc. That seems to be what Interlocken did here.

Better services at lower taxes WOULD be a good thing for citizens. It just doesn't add up (in my head) - that that is what will happen. Please give me a raincheck on my rebuttle.
