WOW! You are slick. You are very good at the politics game. Once again, who are you? You are correct in that "a new school district was not a part of the constitutional amendment creating the city and county of Broomfield." You make that sound so firm that anyone reading the discussion board might just agree with you without further consideration.

But, and this is our point, the consolidated school district was the primary campaign promise for that amendment. We have the flyers to prove it. The state thought such a new district would help our neighbors in Broomfield. The truth is that the promise of a new school district was withdrawn a few months before the election and no campaign effort was made to inform voters of the changes. This is only one example of unethical behavior during the process to form the county. Most of Colorado still voted for the county with images in their heads of children attending more effective schools. I congratulate Broomfield officials on pulling off such a successful scam. You really had us all fooled.

Earthwork is construction.

The ground has been broken for quite some time. The jail is under construction. Broomfield officials have offered the explanation that the earthwork is just fill dirt from the construction of the new mall. Funny it would be dumped and leveled on the same plot of land on which the new jail will rest, isn't it? And you wonder why we doubt every word that comes from Broomfield officials?

By the way, it is not necessary to call some Broomfield officials liars. Do you have a copy of the Kinko's surveillance video? If so, I would like to see it.

Once again, it is not about the jail. The jail forced us to investigate the county status of Broomfield. In doing so, we became so disgusted that we began the effort to repeal the formation of the combined city and county of Broomfield. Just to make sure you understand now, can you read that back to us?

I don't know how we could have made our reasons any clearer. You are doing a wonderful job of disorienting the discussion. I have to conclude now that it is intentional. But, I also have to thank you. Every message you post with such vague replies and misleading remarks forces us to restate our valid concerns. So, new readers will be well informed in a short period of time. Thanks again.
