CRIME REPORT; 9-1-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at 11:55 PM Officer Matt Allen responded to a disturbance call in the 600 blk of N Pioneer.  Officer Allen contacted a female subject who appeared to be under the influence of some type of drug.  This female subject had assaulted her roommate and he had visible injuries.  She was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence. 

 

At 0100 AM Officer Damien Hutchinson stopped a vehicle in the 2100 blk of Lowden for several traffic violations.  The male driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to Taylor County Jail where he refused to provide a breath sample.  He was charged with third offense DWI.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at 12:50 AM Officer Michael Garcia was dispatched to a disturbance.  It was reported that a man intentionally rammed his p/u into another vehicle and then fled the scene on foot.  This male suspect climbed the fence of Safety City and was located inside.  This man appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest for DWI and provided a breath sample.  The results were 0.177 and 0.176.  The legal limit is 0.08.  He was charged with DWI, Criminal Trespass, and Criminal Mischief.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 3:45 PM Officer Anthony Joeris was dispatched to an injured person call in the 3800 block of Patriot.  A male subject called and said that he had struck his aunt and she needed medical attention.  The 67 year old aunt was lying in the floor and had visible injuries.  This male subject admitted to striking the aunt several times in the face.  He was placed under arrest and charged with Injury to the Elderly Family Violence. 

 

At 4:10 PM Officer Robert Brannon made a traffic stop in the 300 block of Jeanette.  The male driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and placed under arrest.  In a subsequent search a small bag was found in the car containing cocaine.  The female passenger claimed it to be hers.  She was placed under arrest for Possession of Cocaine.

CRIME REPORT; 9-8-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 6:45 PM Officer Jody Peavy was dispatched to an assault in progress in the 4500 block of Buffalo Gap Road.  Officer Peavy arrived and detained a male  subject.  Witnesses came forward and stated that this male subject had assaulted a female victim.  This male subject was placed under arrest for assault.  A search of his vehicle revealed 0.7g of meth amphetamine.  This male subject was charged with Assault Family Violence and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

 

At 1:20 AM Officer Damien Hutchinson stopped a vehicle in the 5200 block of Texas for a traffic offense.  When Officer Hutchinson approached the vehicle the male driver was observed trying to hide something.  This was a marijuana pipe.  Officer Hutchinson searched the car and found 2 ounces of marijuana.  The driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was charged with DWI and Possession of Marijuana.

 

And finally at 2:20 AM Officer Gabe Thompson stopped a car in the alley of the 800 block of Walnut for driving without headlights.  The male driver of the car had several outstanding arrest warrants.  He was placed under arrest and during a subsequent search a small bag of marijuana was discovered in his pocket.  A male passenger in the car was also contacted.  A crack pipe was located in a search of the car.  A search was conducted of this passenger’s person and a bag of cocaine was located.  He was placed under arrest for Possession of Cocaine.
