COP: Dee Runnells reported on crime activity for the month of August.
ComLink: Evageline Gawronski reported on progress of COP and SAPD work efforts together.
Movies in the Square: Mike Seeley reported possible 10/25 date with a Halloween theme. Discussion about neighborhood handling food & drink concession for the event.
Summer Concert Update: Financial report has not been submitted to the Treasurer.
Home Tour/Tea 2003: No report.
Traffic Update: Dave Rudge distributed 4-color copies of the diverter options available to the neighborhood. Mike agreed to post the color renderings on the wilshiresquare.com site. Mike confirmed a general neighborhood meeting would be held for the purpose of presenting the options and taking a vote. No date was set.
Newsletter: Mike Seeley announced a mid-October publication of WOW. E-mail newsletter stories to Mike at wilshiresquare.com
New Business: Mike Seeley announced 9/11 observance to be held at Lathrop at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium.
Lathrop/Garden Club Co-Op: Discussion ensured about the possibility of joining forces with Lathrop focusing on garden related activites with the purpose of enhancing the landscaping of Lathrop.
Open Floor:
Discussion about promotion of first full weekend as official citywide garage sale weekend. Possible posting of dates in WOW.
Mike Seeley announced the passing of
Jo Synder and Dee Runnells reported on the death of Mr. Placentia. Sympathy cards will be sent to the families on behalf of WSNA.
Mike Seeley informed the assembly a bylaw committee was currently reviewing the WSNA bylaws and a report was forthcoming.
October meeting will be at Lathrop.
