Minutes: Secretary reported posting of June minutes on neighborhoodlink.com site
Treasurer's Report: Treasurer distributed report. Copy available by request from secretary. E-mail request to: jrami@msn.com
COP: Dee Runnells reported crime activity for one month.
ComLink: Jo Ann Ramirez reported new officers for 2002-03. Jim Walker, President, Roman Reyna, VP, Armando de la Libertad, secretary and board members Evangeline Gawronski, Desi Reyes, Tim Rush and Oscar Garza. It was announced meetings held monthly, the fourth Thursday at the SAPD Community Room. Social starts at 6:30 p.m. with meeting at 7:00 p.m. Validated parking available at SAPD parking structure.
Movies in the Square: Mike Seeley reported he is currently working on a date in late Oct. or Nov. for a repeat performance.
Summer Concert Update: Jim Kendrick reported the 70 tables were sold out with four comp'd. He reported the restaurants made money on food sales.
Applause all around for Skip, John & Jim for all their hard work & dedication to the success of this event.
Home Tour/Tea: Mike Seeley announced this year's event has been cancelled. Chairs Mike Seeley and Karl Marx are exploring the possibility of a home tour/tea in late spring 2003.
Traffic Update: Mike Seeley reported he and Dave Rudge are scheduled to meet with Jim Ross next week on the diverter issue.
Newsletter: Mike Seeley announced the next publication date TBD. He encouraged written articles be submitted to MarcLaFont.

New Business:
Paula Faccou asked the neighbors to submit favorite recipes for the new WS cookbook. You may contact Paula at
545-8535 for more details.

Alison Young, Pres. of SAHPS alerted the neighborhood to the proposed Sav-On project at the northwest corner of Main and First Streets. It is proposed to be a 24-hour operation. She encouraged residents to participate in the 45-day EIR review period and express their concerns about this project that also calls for the demolition of an historic structure.
