I think I made my opinion clear - I'd like it if everyone identified himself or herself by a name - if only a first name, as ''Janet'' does.

You are correct that all the other ''handles'' or whatever are not really straightforward.

If this is really a neighborhood discussion group instead of a place to rant and hide, then I think people should identify themselves. Period.

I'm perfectly aware that the rules of this group allow anonymous posting - I just don't like it and will never do it. I guess if I can't say whatever I want to say openly, then I don't need to say it.
