hi there ,

okay as far as the mulch, i refer to mostly the entryway & the median between in and out......the are piled high with mulch and last summer when it rained, it all spilled out onto the street and into the yards -  i spent hours last summer picking it up out of the street (good times)  particularly irksome after i saw the budget for landscaping, realizing i would be purchasing more to only clean it up again this year......with regard to plant health, all the plants in the relevant areas are stunted, loosing leaves (this pre dated winter )  i moved some of the mulch around the roots and verified the presence of white mold.... the thing with mulch, is if u dont maitain it properly ie:  replacement not piling new on top of old you are assured of white mold.......its the reason i replaced all the mulch in our yard beds.....its just not a good florida fit......its cheaper than rocks or other fillers, but u have to replace it every year....i vote for rocks - more long term, cleaner, less maintenance - and most importantly less maintenance money.......

K, I believe board members get complacent but they should NEVER be nasty to a homeowner. That has become part of the problem. I've been yelled at once for bringing up concerns and had a shouting cussing match in the streets-both times with the President. If they have too much on their plates they shouldn't run for the board. Like you I am concerned about my property value and the overall health of the community. As far as the President-I use to be his buddy but we have parted ways. What I expect is what every homeowner should: the reasonable rules of the community to be enforced and not to treat the homeowners with disrespect.I also think the board members should not have blatant violations on their property. I would expect the board to try to save the residents money by seeking cost effective vendors.

No joke. Paul is running and I am simply the voice of reason. I am not running at this time as my wife really frowns on it. I think you know Shannon from seeing her at Shapes. I at one time helped the community where ever I could and still want to but not with the current condescending attitude of the board. If you are who I think you are, the first time I met you, you were bringing liquor to one of the community parties where I was pouring drinks. You are the second house east of the second entrance.
