I come on here to post a question and come to see this.

I hate conflict and am usually not a person to get involved in any of it.  But I must say that coming here and see everything that has been posted is upsetting.  I mean I am friends with everyone on our block, wave to everyone even if i dont know them I will at least smile at the car or person walking by. 

With all this said it makes it hard....I think the bashing of others in the neighborhood on a neighborhood message board is wrong.  It makes us neighbors that are friends with everyone feel upset.  I am not someone that will pick a side, I will still talk and wave, or smile at everyone.  And with all this on this message board knowing what is said makes us feel as if we have to pick sides and its something i wont do.

I think that no matter who the homeowner is posting nasty things about other homeowners is disresceptful, isn't it? I dont think that is should matter if they are on a board or not, should it?

I dont mean to put my nose in it at all.  Its just as said before upsetting to come here and see this when I was coming to post a question about something I thought I would ask others in the neighborhood, and see this.

Why cant we all just get along....would you still be buddy buddy with him and not be so upset if he wasnt on the board, and just another homeowner like us?

I am sorry if you are offended. I tried other ways to communicate my issues but was publicly chewed out by my ex buddy and when the attitude became so condescending-this was a good outlet to reach out to others that may feel the same way. I would never ask anyone to take sides. It is my buddy that started back talking me to people then denied it then admitted to it in part. I have not even posted the personal stuff. I did not pay what I paid for my home and at closing sign and agree to obey the rules to watch my property value slip because the powers that be don't enforce the reasonable rules. I would love to live in a community where everyone can be at peace but that was not the way it was when I came here nor do I believe it will be when I am gone. I am a very helpful person by nature but I can only be talked down to for so long before I can't turn the other cheek. If he wasn't on the board I still would not be his buddy as I have seen a big change in him and do not wish to be in that company. I'm sorry him being on the board does not give him the right to shout and cuss at me on the streets of this community. I am one who believes it is the boards job to serve the homeowner not the other way around. Sorry I also believe the board should set the example by not having violations. Think about it for a minute-if all the residents saw board members with fixable violations and they got the idea that if the board doesn't obey the rules-why should I? It would not be long before our community looked bad and our home values dropped further than what they have from the economy! Don't you find it hypocritical that the people enforcing the rules are breaking them?? Him being on the board does not give him special powers or a free pass to behave rudely. I know you to be a very nice person and again I am truly sorry to have offended you. On a positive note-more people are posting and want to get involved in the community!!
