Have to give some credit. The phone call via the Alert System blows doors on watching the ''bubbleheaded bleach blondes'' on the TV as you see that Winchendon has no school then the news cuts to a commercial then resumes the scroll at Medford.

If you had a ''crumbsnatcher'' in the BPSchools today you recieved a call saying the school day was cancelled.

This beats the hell outta watching the news!

5:35a.m. Call??

Is there a particular reason why our household was awakened at 5:35a.m. this morning with a recorded message that school was cancelled? 5:35a.m. with the voice of our Superintendent stating it was being called off because of this 4'' blizzard we were experiencing?
