How did this guy get into offfice? Answer: The ''Save Braintree'' crowd. We need another counter group like the one that opposed the Charter change last year. The school committe and Hubbard are as thick as thieve's. Neither have any real world financial background or acumen. The Finance Committee chairman, T. Langill is opposed to an override and with justification, saying the school committee gave the store away approving a 10% teachers raise. Other unions will be coming looking for the same. In thimes like these, when private industry is giving no raises for the last several years, why does our financially inept school committee feel our teachers and other are owed disproportionate raises. 180 days a year and salary of just say a modest 55,000 equates to $110,000 annually. Give me a break. NO, NO, NO to any over-ride!!!! And Hubbard has got to go.
