our friends @ town/fire/police &

school don't seem to get it.they're
our neighbors,friends,even adversaries.
and their hands are extended for wage even though they know our community
needs road and bridge repairs;schools need roofs and boilers and supplies.
we are all wondering why their take home amount is more important than the job at hand.do they just have a JOB of is it a Vocation.if its just a job than
what's with all the extra perks and incentives such as training,Quinn bill,
vehicles,etc.if they fancy themselves jobbers,pay them straight wage and have their unions provide for their health and welfare.why does anyone at town hall need a town vehicle,especially a SUV?because their cool?come on-who justifies those purchases?the same guy that goes to town meeting asking for more police?or is it selectmen?does any one of these people serve the towns' interest?
not to long ago there was a word,known to all in its definition that required no explanation

She has no love of town

Government, she calls them trivial and inconsequential and unworthy of praise!
She mocks the dignity that August body exudes, draws scornful comparisons
to a tea party!
Has she an insight into its effectiveness that we ,the town, are not aware of,
is she a member of the School Committee and has disdain for our lack of fiscal
control of the town budget, thus the bile?
Has she has cast us aside like powerless fools of no consequence, babbling
idiots and dreamers?
Will this scorn for our authority spread to other town departments as the
process continues?
Will we, or have we, become nothing but pitiful powerless slaves to taxation?
