Please define nepotism
Do you mean Thomas Whalen Sr., Water/Sewer Director?
Or his son Thomas Whalen Jr., Water/Sewer employee, working directly under his father? Hmmmm...

just wonder a couple of things..
1.is there a conflict of interest rule in job hire rules that forbid this?
if so vote on changing it or leave it.
2. participate in town politics and get involved voicing your concerns in person if it means so much. steer
clear of the backstabbing gutless set
here at the community link, unless you're a shut in. at least that would explain why one was unable to voice their displeasure in person.have some backbone and refrain from sewing circle
gossip.or is that the way you treat everyone-including those close to you,hm?

Save it, sewer breath
The W&S tragedy began long before Whalen was appointed and the finger points to the bonehead commissioners of the Water & Sewer department before the DPW was formed and took their authority away.
Our elected W&S Commissioners focused on getting rid of the Celano and DelPico types instead of taking care of business. With all of the capital improvements that thay neglected to do, we are basically being forced to address them or risk another aco from the state and will pay higher rates for many years to come.
What vote are you referring to? Wasn't Whalen appointed by McMahon?
