Honestly, I am usually one of the complainers...I have never seen my street cleared so well, or so early in a storm. Town trucks were in my area early in the day...cleared massive amount of snow from my corner lot. It saved me hours of work, and left me shocked. Remember the blizzard of 78, the neighborly feeling that brightened up the state? I felt it yesterday for 2 town employees in the trucks. I wish I had gotten thier names so I could thanak them personally. Great going, guys!

Street are looking great. DPW has done an excellent job!

We should also be thankful that we never lost power. We are more fortunate than most communities.

Perhaps we should all turn on the news reports from Boston, Hyannis, Scituate and Hull. Take a step back ahd look at the homes that were devestated and the lives that were lost. Be grateful for all that you DO have and count your blessings.

Oh, and enjoy the warmth of your home.

Now if only...

we can stop the idiots from pushing the snow back into the street we will be all set. I think the Highway Dept did a wonderful job. Kept my street open until the snow stopped then they came by and widened it.
Liberty St wss down to bare pavement and some guy was clearing his driveway and blowing it back onto Liberty St. Isn't there a law against that?

SIDE OF THEIR TRUCK,OR ASK THE TOWN WHO THEY WHERE,AND SEND THEM HOMEMADE CHOPOLATE CHIP COOKIES,A WHOLE BOX OF THEM,NICE TOUCH FOR NEXT STORM.
