The DPW has always done a fine job.
It's the cockroaches that are contracting to plow the streets who suck up the overtime. If they do it right the first time it will decrease their overtime pay. They won't put their blades to the pavement because they don't want to snap a shear pin. Why do they have numbers on the sides of their trucks? They were robbing the taxpayers by doing private driveway plowing while the town was paying them to plow the streets.
Who is supposed to be monitoring their work? It better be you, because the town officials are not.

Do you also pay twice for a loaf of bread at the grocery store? Do you leave a box of cookies with the cashier?
Plowing is paid for by my taxes. I expect it to be done properly.
