I certainly do not know everything about the San Tan Incorporation, however I do know that we would NOT be getting a Fire Department, and we would only be getting 4 new Deputies. I have seen we would be creating a nice new job (I am sure the pro Incorporation committee already has this person picked) Park manager at a small cost of $150,000 per year salary. Don't forget the Business Planning person, I have no idea the salary of this position but I can imagine. Personally all I can see is a few people getting a good salary and nothing changing for YEARS. If you really look at Queen Creek, for example, what did Incorporating do for them ? Well they did gain a Library, a park and a Quick Trip, lost a few businesses also. Buy hey they are Incorporated now, all the homeowners get to pay higher taxes. I bet if you wanted to sell your house it would only take a couple of days with the high property taxes.
This is the third time this group has tried to Incorporate San Tan. Can you tell I am NOT for Incorporation.
