No, but thanks. I would rather the board inform the homeowners on their own. It's their job. I will risk the loss of a meeting instead. :)

THEY DO!!!!!!! What would you like to see done and consider keeping you informed? I truly mean that...what would make YOU happy as being informed? I mean you complain that you're not informed, yet it's in 3 separate places they go above and beyond what is required by law, so truly, what would make you happy and constitute you being informed? |

Honestly, I think it's fairly easy and no cost to put out signs on the road, arrange with the school (during the school year) to put it on their reader board, or to make sure the flyers go on ALL mailboxes. I get my mail everyday, maybe with exception to a few days per year and typically am there at the same time the mail carrier is arriving. I think I have seen a flyer on our mailbox maybe 3 times in the last 4+ years. But, the first suggestions I listed have literally no cost involved and more people show up to the meetings when the physical signs are up. The last time it was suggested to do this again, it was shot down with the reason being that people destroy the signs. Well, if that's true, they are going to destroy the flyers too, but at least having them put out will get the message to some people. I realize that not all people have computers or the time to check the HOA websites with life's busy schedules, so a road sign is a quick way to get attention. THEN, when we are back on track, send mailers. It really doesn't cost that much in comparison to other spending. We have quite a few brand new homeowners who wouldn't have a clue there is a meeting unless they go to one since they don't know what these websites are anyways. Make sense? |
