Neighborhood eyesores

Very True

I've been trying to sell my home now for over a year and I can't help but think that when potential buyers come looking, they see the house across the street, with the dogs locked up in the garage, barking for what seems like hours, cars up on blocks, oil spills on the street, the yard looks like a hay field sometimes. Would you buy across the street from that ?

You must be asking to much for your house. If you dont like your neighbors lower the price of your house, take a loss, and get out.
I disagree

I see other subdivisions with toys laying around in their yards. Have you been through Liberty Lakes, Olentangy Ridge, Powell Place? Don't make it look like we are the only neighborhood who may not care.

What is so horrible about a satellite dish in plain view from the street. They are not a nuisance, they are not ugly, they don't hurt anybody. They are not huge enough to care. You don't even realize they are there unless you are looking. There are plenty of beautiful homes in this development with satellite dishes in view from the street.

no

but I wouldn't buy next to a pond either. I don't want my little ones wandering off for the water in that instant I turn my head away for 30 seconds.
