Has any one else heard about a man who is lurking in the bushses and jumoing out at children ?also one of my neighbors told me that a child was attacked on washburn on Tuesday.I was told he has dark hair medium lenght wavey and hes thin and his eyes are wild looking.Please everyone if its true please lets all keep a eye on each others kids until this person is caught.

I have called our Chief of Police, Jim Carter, and asked him to verify this information.  If you have information about any of these matters please call the Police and pass on this information.

The Police have already been out on green meadow circle twice.We back up right to the detention basin amd I was told that there have been people living back there in tents and one of the neighbors daughters saw the man when he jumped out at herf rom the bushs.So the metro police know about it.

I talked with a 5th District Metro. Police Sergeant and He told me He had no information on anything like the above happening in Woodlawn Park.  St. Matthews has yet gotten back with me.  When I hear something from them I will advise.

There is a tent on the far side of the detention basin and both Chief Jim Carter and I have gone back there and have yet to see anyone in or around the tent.  The tent and the area around the tent appears that someone is living there.

I would still advise anyone before posting anything like this to first call our Chief of Police and let him verify this information first before putting this on our website.
