I am all for a safer place to live, I buy more ammo every chance I get.

I was only suggesting a better system.  Having worked in LE in other cities we had a "dispatch" report broken down by patrol divisions.   If a call comes into dispatch it is obviously logged and available the following day.  With Chief Carters limited schedule and very limited officers under his command it would seem that having access to all calls in "division 3" (or whatever patrol division/sector we are in) would increase his awareness to what happens in the off hours, and by doing so would limit his cell phone ringing with the same calls from Woodlawn park residents

Metro should always be 1st call in our area is my understanding.  I didn't even think metro dispatched our chief i thought the sheriff dpt did?

If Louisville Metro doesn't have this system maybe we should have a beef with them :-).

Interesting that you seem to routinely mention that you buy ammo whenever something seems to alert you.  Makes me wonder if concern about you might be warranted and a call to the ATF in order??    Anyway, when the law enforcement agencies all shift to common radio frequencies sometime this year, then I would think officers in the metro area will be tuned in to what's going on and where.  Hope so.

As of now guns and ammo are still legal.  Save tax payers money ( that would be a first) and let the atf do their job on illegal activities.

Call who you want "Woodman". I believe it is covered on the second amendment.  I'm sorry if I upset anyone.  "Hope / Change" hasn't quite made it illegal to own weapons but they sure are making guns/ammo more expensive.   I'm sure thats all part of the stimulus package that will save us all.

After proudly serving 4 years in the service and working for a DOD contractor for 3 I believe in fighting for and protecting what is yours.
