  • Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor

I was actually only referring to urine not poop and certainly not letting dogs in other flower beds.

I actually didn't mean to cause this much commotion.  I just felt that at times our blog can be a touch aggressive.  Of course I have only made this worse and for that I apologize.

I always have and will continue to control my pets regarding other neighbors I just never thought ocassional urine was that offensive although it apparently is to some.

And also unfortunately, the original request and vast majority of the interactions were very polite but it was only a few comments that bothered me personally.  Again I made this worse especially by not being specific.

Nope, you made this worse by even commenting.  The original request and the subsequent requests for dog owners to respect the property of other people were legitimate, LEGAL  requests.  A request by ANY property owner regarding what they consider abuse of their property by others should be honored with compliance WITHOUT comment, except maybe, "I am sorry."  That would be the neighborly thing to do and you know it.

Did you go talk to the gentleman who made the original request since you so furiously  objected to his stance or did you continue to stir the poop on this neighborhood site?  How dare you call anyone else "unneighborly" and how dare you put yourself in a "holier-than-thou" role to the extent of passing judgement on the comments of others.  Trouble with your actions is exactly what you said, you took things personally ratherly than objectively.

You have every right to disagree with what another person says, but you have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to refer to anyone in a derogatory manner as you did when you called us "unneighborly" amonng other things.  And, you have no right to trespass which is exactly what you are doing by letting your dog encraoch on their property without  an invitation. What part of PRIVATE PROPERTY do you not understand?  Property owners are well within the law and the guidelines of ethical behavoir when they say they do not want your dog's pee and poop in their yard, and they are not required to tell you that nicely.  They shouldn't have to tell a good neighbor that at all.  SMDH!

You do need a life... If I knew who you are, I would pray for you.

What is SMDH?
