In response to the Knott's message, we have no record of any correspondence from you where you have expressed your concern about HOA enforcement or about the particular issues you mention in your post. We say this because one would expect someone who was so concerned to have voiced their concern to the HOA directly, instead you've chosen this forum to complain after the fact. We are not mind readers, so therefore you must communicate to us if you want your concerns addressed. Your assumption that HOA rules aren't being enforced is false. In the case of the person who had a washer on their front porch, the HOA was actively engaged with the homeowner in this matter that resulted in the washer ultimately being removed. Once we were made aware of this issue by another neighbor, the issue was resolved in a matter of days. If you were aware of and concerned about this issue, you should have e-mailed us as well. We cannot fix an issue that we aren't made aware of.
Concerning the issue you have with your neighbors parking habits, there isn't technically any HOA rule that is being violated. We find it quite interesting that you would expect the HOA to keep track of which vehicles belong in certain driveways. I can say that we don't know that and we don't plan on trying to figure it out. It sounds like this person who is parking there is trespassing by parking their vehicle on someone else's property. That would be breaking of a city law and if you are deeply concerned by this you are encouraged to call the police.
As we said before, the HOA is actively involved in enforcing the HOA rules, but we are highly dependent on feedback of homeowners making us aware of potential violations. All homeowner's are encouraged to send any questions, comments or concerns to kesslebrookeHOA@aol.com |

Wow. I guess I rubbed the HOA the wrong way...but it finally got a reply. I never got this email you referenced....if I did, I never would have posted anything or contacted Dan. I give up. I hopefully will sell my house and move out of here and make the HOA happy. I will go back into my hole now and hide. |

Actually, my post was less of a complaint and more of a musing and sharing of thoughts with a neighbor. I'm sorry that you felt the need to reply in such a hostile tone. What is the point of this forum if not to post concerns? I had assumed that the HOA read this forum and that it was a proper means to express thoughts. The implications and hostility in your responses are very disappointing, but I do apologize if you were so easily offended. |
