This is our first winter in Little Spring Farm and I'm curious if the conditions of the streets in the neighborhood after our first accumulating snowfall is what is to be expected from our snow removal contract?

According to the contract there has to be 3 inches or more before they will scrap the streets. I don't like it either myself. This rule got them in trouble last year and then they had to bring in bigger equipment to clear.

I think one of the problems that causes the streets to remain in bad condition, is they do not salt the pavement.  Same problem every year.

Why don't they salt the streets?   Is this a contract issue or does the developer(s) not allow it to be placed down for whatever reason (environmental, pavement damage, etc.)?
