Muscatine

Does anyone know

Hmm

I say what's right for one is right for all. Therefore, it shouldn't matter who is putting on the haunted house. ''It's about saftey.'' No, apparently not in that case. If Wal-Mart had the same thing going on and they were able to have their haunted house, what makes them better? Nothing at all. It's wrong of the fire dept. to have given them the O.K, only to have turned around and said no. But leave it up to Muscatine I guess to not do something right the first time. Either they screwed up by saying yes to the Wal-Mart haunted house or they're picking favorites somewhere.
Sprinklers?

I believe most retail locations are required to have sprinkler systems - does Farm & Fleet?
Just curious

Did you have any contact with the fire department prior to constructing your haunted house? Were they any stipulations about the materials you could use in your particular structure?
What a minute

You said that the fire cheif of Muscatine made the final decision on if the haunted house could stay open or had to close, also the same fire cheif decided to look the other way when a multi million dollar corp. did the same thing in putting in a haunted house.I guess what I am wondering is how this fire cheif is still the fire cheif with all his indessive decisions and his arrest record for running from the police after showing himself in a public place, which is public information.Man I am glad I don't live in Muscatine. It sounds like you guys have more of a problem then just fire safety in a haunted house.
