Has anyone heard when the new Thai restaurant downtown is opening? I see they have a sign up on the outside of the building but didn't get close enough to see what it said...

Why do you seem to delight in the fact that this business like the rest you seem to know about has not or may not make it?

I am not certain, but I believe there are several businesses in the downtown area that are still open and seem to be doing just fine. Restaurants included.

Could it be that you and people like you are the reason Muscatine has the reputation it has to some? You appear to be just a little jealous. You should be supporting growth in our town, not bashing it. But, then again, you are never a positive thinker are you? That takes class which you may be lacking in.

Look at the track record downtown!! I don't bring a ''reputation'' as an individual.....right? You have one or two big high rollers to finance the building rehabs, etc. Tax right-off, hmm. Get real. Who has owns all of these? The MAGIC website says it all.........The only thing long lasting store on Second St. is Lange's shop.....hard telling what he's selling..........Good night, Prissy/
