your question brought out good discussion from many. it showed me that the NL group has fine folks in it. you are not alone - other vets and mothers/fathers/wives/children of vets. shared feeling without a lot of back and forth bickering is a good thing.

i hope you can lighten your load a bit. i'll take the point for awhile. one way or another we are in this together. when you gotta do what you gotta do, it is probably some assh*le's fault somewhere - but it certainly isn't yours. i know it is easy for me to say, but you can shake off the 'negative waves' (as donald sutherland reminded his buddies in 'kelly's heroes'). to turn the bus around, you have to turn the wheel.
