It was not my hope to insult anyone on this conversation, but I have to question the ability of Budman to read. While Nigel chooses to be his usual blind follower, neither took the time to read my post. In short they read what they wanted to read. I reported what the Police chief of Philly said and made observations off those numbers. I myself even questioned the numbers by stating ''IF'' we choose accept them as fact we could draw my conclusions. So clearly Budman it is you that has made yourself fall victim to Nigel's and Nedl's game of stupidity.
If you choose to actually check the facts you'll find that America has a gun Homicide rate of 4.08 and a suicide rate of 6.08. Compare that to England that has a .12 Homicide rate and a .22 suicide rate. Then compare it to Japan that has a .04 Homicide rate and a .04 suicide rate. These facts can be varified at any one of many sites, but the one I used is: http://www.gun-control-network.org/GF01.htm After researching the facts were only left with one real question. Why do Americans kill themselfs and others at up to 6 times faster then other countries? I'd like to pretend that it's something simple like laws. But maybe it's more complex. Maybe it's just that people choose not to read or hear facts and really never know which way to point the the darn gun. I don't know!! What I do know is I'm Pro life. Even your life.
