I'll try to answer

everyones questions. First, I'm in favor of our second amendment and would wish never to abolish it. How can that be with my views against guns? I find it simple. While I'll never find the need to use a gun to feed myself, entertain myself, or just in some warped way use a gun to make feel more man like, I do know it's a very needed right. This is not to say we can't or shouldn't make changes. In every country that has made laws restricting or outlawing guns there has been a HUGE drop in deaths. Not wanting to go to the extreme of outlawing, maybe some laws of restriction can help save a life or two. When a man can take a hand gun, walk up to a armor truck, kill two gaurds and walk away we must look at prevention. Two law abidding men didn't make it home for dinner today so everyone else can have there gun. I don't think it's a fair trade. There are things we can do to make this better. What? Well, that's the real crime. No one thinks it's an issue. I say ask the wifes, Kids, and loved ones.

Chosen-

You like us to think you are all about a nice, civil debate. I thought we were having just that and then YOU resort to calling budman, nigel and myself stupid. I only have one more word for you chosen. CLICK!
Viable

The expert would maybe have a viable comparison had he named what the ''other countries'' were.

But then, the chief didn't quailify his statistics, now did he? Where did they come from?

Davieboy, since when does the chief of one city speak for all the gun death records in America? Bit of a stretch; even for you.

The First....

Thing that must be remembered here is that Philly (the city of brotherly love) is the most violent city in America. This police chief has been unable to get a handle on the situation, so, it must be the gun's fault. Yeah, right.
The second thing is that there are 300 million guns in the hands of The People. Chosen, what ''changes'' in the 2nd ammendment would you propose? I'll tell you this, if the police or anyone else thinks that it's possible to confiscate them, they're dead wrong!
