I think this would depend greatly upon the law we choose to pass or enforce. Lets say we choose as a result to school shooting enforce with more vigar the law of age restrictions on the purchasing of firearms. I think you'd see little to no effect on school shooting. However, if we pass a law, that would charge the gun owner with murder in every school shooting death, I think you'd see much more responsiabilty in gun owners securing their weapons. Do I think you'll ever see that, no I don't. But it'd scare the heck out of a lot of people.

I think if you look at school shootings compared to the sure volume of schools, you're right they are rare. However if you look at the rate they happen, it's growing. We're already at the 2nd gun crime of this new school year and we're not even 2 months into it. That's scary.

I meant. I blamed the government for spending billions on war when it could go to education. my point is the fact of it is there are kids not getting trained right by the parents. so what do we do, just close our eyes and hope it goes away. it is getting worse and what we are doing is not working. more gun laws will not stop it. it will transfer to other ways and means. how about more education. all I'm saying is you need to be taught how to be a good citizen. like everything else it is easier if you have been taught instead of self-taught. the teachers do the best they can with what they got! I just think we should focus on the kids education.
