about your loss. Even though I never had a pet I know how attached people get to theirs. strange, but I'm watching animal precinct as I type this. I can't believe how some animals are abused yet others like yours, so loved. There is another dog or cat out there that desperately needs you.

I'm sorry for your loss. When you lose a pet, it's never ''just a pet''. It's like losing a family member. Wish I had some better words of comfort for you, but Stonervote is right-don't beat yourself up over this. It's not like you were letting your dog run wild, he just happened to get away from you, and these things happen. Hope something goes really good for you tomorrow.
