They will be coming soon with the first ice/sleet/snow and all of the drivers with no insurance, and ''maybe'' illegals/legals with nothing at all. It's the truth folks. And I metioned NO nationality.

In case you didn't know it, the city or any other gov't organization doesn't pay what you or I would pay for a vehicle like that. Their prices are based on net state prices that manufacturers offer to gov't agencies. They probably did't pay any more than 25 to 26,000.00 for that. Big difference to the 44,000.00 sticker price. Wish I could buy one for that price.

Also, Gov't doesn't pay federal tax on gas. They have to pay state tax, but then the file a claim to get that money back. They really don't pay tax on fuel at all. So they pay a lot lees for fuel than we do. Again, I wish I could pay what they do for fuel.

Insurance was the problem. Our kids went to birthday parties there for years. Now, anytime someone bumps their head or scrapes their shin, they want to sue somebody. The city used to have an ice rink and sledding, but supposedly quit due to insurance costs. Great idea, but it will never happen. Forget it. Have to go to Davenport if you want to skate.

Some church will buy the mall next time, and take it off the tax roles.
