There was a day when the life average of a human was 40yrs old. Doctors, researchers and many other unmentioned people have made advances in the medical field and today we look at the average life span of I believe 73 years. (don't quote me on that, it's close) Than we're face with the fact of medical treatment recieved, insured vs uninsured. Clearly, anyone one who has lived the experance can tell you that insured people recieve better treatment. That's from attitudes to actual care given. So, in the end we're left with really not so hard to understand facts. Who wants to tell a child they are not entitled to the best posiable health care because their parents can't afford insurance? Fact: This is what we tell kids every day. Bush just said it with a veto.
I think as a country, if we can spend 600 billion $$$ on killing people in war, maybe we can spare a couple of billion to cover the future of the children.
