I agree with you except for the fact that we are already paying for these people with our state tax dollars.
If they have no insurance they go to the emergency room after hours and are treated for free and the state pays the emergency room bill.
I think they should be on a plan like my H.M.O. where the doctors and hospitals are on a contractual rate and most of those rates are about a 48 to 50% reduction.
The person that walks in the door with a job, but no insurance pays the full bill. It is no wonder some of these people refuse a part time job at minimun wage.
