By the by, I do remember her.  She parked her car in front of the white house between us.  I used to take the City Bus to St. Mary's Grade School (when I didn't have to walk there).  Hung out in Gordons' Market, next to the Hilltop.  God, as I've said before, those were the days.

Tom, are your name or initials on the  brick wall outside Gordon's?

Also, where did you play ball?  We used Fletcher field (cemetery property - was actually alongside what became Foster's market - now an insurance office).

I'll try to answer both questions.  My name, and/or initials could very easily on the side of Gordon's Market.  Now you're gonna make me go look!  Danmed, that was a little over 50 years ago??????  I played ball at Iowa Field.  Called some kids a "Purple People Eater" since they beat us, well, they chased me down to that cement block plant (?) on Sycamore, and, it was a one punch fight!  I didn't throw the punch.  God, the things that you can remember!
