Perhaps if you only read the first part of the amendment Mal you would get the idea that it only applies to a "militia". Fortunately in 2008 the Supreme Court read the entire amendment and held that it applies to all citizens of the United States. Now here is the second amendment, please note the punctuation in it and how a reasonable person would understand that it applies to all people.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

If you say everything before "the right of the people..." has no meaning, tell me why did the framers put it in?
Incidentally, elsewhere "people" has not been limited to citizens, but included all the people. Why have you limited it? Should that be the case here?
Another thing for you to ponder. Wikipedia says that the version that was submitted to the states and ratified by them didn't have the first and third commas.
