I asked questions, dickhead...I blamed no one. And, EPA does have authority. All while BDI blamed GPC....

Ah, BS, would you prefer that the "beloved EPA" have the authority to shut the place down and use that authority?

If not, don't blame them for lack of action.

And you will note I also asked questions for which you gave no answers.   And I question EPA has the authority to shut the place down based on any recent violations.

You say they should do a better job of filtering - that is exactly why they are building a 100+ million dollar dryer. I am sure that the date of completion is probably at least a couple of years away, but it appears that clam and/or the plaintiffs in the lawsuit think that their actions will make it happen sooner.

There's a lot going on down there that a dryer won't fix.

I got my invitation to join the suit today.

Won't fix??? So now mallcontent is an expert on corn processing. We'll put that one up on the blackboard with Iowa nitrogen in the Gulf, and how Stanley's manages their construction contracts....

I don't claim to be an expert but apparently know more than you and the rest of the boys.   You should go to the CLAM meetings and learn something.   The environmentalist from GPC attended one and was quite informative about what the various pollutants are and how much the dryer would reduce each of them.

I'm surprised you apparently still feel so proud about knowing nothing about how to measure nitrogen in the Gulf.

And that you still feel the same way about thinking that when Stanley gets work overseas, they don't do any of it in Muscatine.
It's handled the same way as domestic work.  For instance when they get a job in St. Louis they don't ship a whole design team to St. Louis.   Only a damn fool would do that and not be in business for long.

Never once spoke to Stanley's overseas work.

Overseas work was part of the discussion.

You are a liar.

Still resort to name calling.

Back to square one. You originally stated they bring jobs to Muscatine when they get contracts. Our discussion was about unemployment here when you offered that. So now you are asserting that all contracts they get are managed from their Muscatine office?

No.

Do they bring jobs to Muscatine or not?

Yes.

That is what you lied about. Care to change your story?

No lie here.   No.

You haven't listened to anything so far.   What would be the point of giving you another?

I could precede this with a bunch of names like stupid, ignorant, moronic etc. etc but that is your style, not mine.
You can keep saying I know nothing about gulf pollution; but as stated, that is the field I work in.
It's difficult to see how you could work in this field with anything to do with the science and measurement.   Are you a delivery boy?   Do you wash out the beakers?   Do you gather sludge?   Do you type up the results?
How 'bout you?
I've got plenty of education and experience in the sciences, the math and the taking of measurements to understand what is going on and how this is done.   Both lab and field experience.
Where is your expertise on the matter from?
See above.
And...we are still waiting for you to prove your claims on the "Iowa" pollution in the Gulf. You alluded here (again) about measuring nitrogen in the Gulf. Let me proudly remind you that your original claim was that it WAS Iowa's nitrogen....not just nitrogen. Still waiting.
My original bit of information that I provided was that a certain percentage of nitrogen in the Gulf dead Zone was from Iowa.

I still don't see any Iowa nitrogen floating around identified as Iowa's. Do those particles of nitrogen have Hawkeye hoodies on or something?

This, from a guy who claims experience and expertise in the field.   More inane blather.

You lyingly claimed Iowa nitrogen was identified in the Gulf.

You are lying here you know.   I never said anything about identifying nitrogen in the Gulf.   I spoke of what portion in the Gulf came from Iowa.

I take water samples all the time and still have never had a lab report tell me that the pollutant was Iowa's, or Greg's, or Mammies', or California's.

Well if you took the sample from a well in Iowa, it would be from Iowa.   Duh!

They surely keep track of where the samples were taken.   Ask them.   I actually believe every report states where the sample was taken or came from.

I wish you would just point that science out to the certified labs I work with around the country; as they must be operating in the dark and well below your scientific expertise!

It's no big break through.   When they take the sample, just look around and see where they are and write it down.   Or if they don't know where they are, ask.

Gosh...you could get rich and quit working at Walmart and Louis Rich.

Do you really think I could sell this information?   Would you buy it?

Clam meetings. No one has to go to clam meetings to know what is said there. They get published eventually and your blood-brother repbublibub keeps us informed after those meetings anyway. At any rate...now we know you are attending them, so I am sure you will keep us informed.

Don't jump to another wrong conclusion.   I never said I attended one.   As you pointed out "No one has to go to clam meetings to know what is said there."   If they don't they won't get the whole story but maybe the part they are interested in if they ask the right person.
