The Musc Journal, QC Times, and Des Moines Register have all started charging for online subscriptions after your free metered visits expire.

Well, I didn't think the journal was worth the price in the first place. I sure as hell won't pay to read it online.

I agree nedl. News is not updated during the day. In the evening they start putting tomorrow's stories and obits online and not always very current with those, usually better to go to funeral home website. Outrageous to charge to read online.JMHO

I don't know about that....

Another problem besides no news is the advertisers won't get there ads out though the journal once people have to start paying for it online. Myself if I can't see what they are selling in Muscatine then I will go out of town.
