Indeed Ned. It isn't Obama that worries me as much as the non-thinking low information voters that elected him. I worry more about the non-thinking, low information voters who still talk about him being a Muslim and from Kenya and still deny climate change or species extinction and a host of other science. You could even include the dummy who doesn't understand nitrogen in the Gulf of Mexico. |

Sad part is somewhat have to agree with this "republican" person on the intent of this post. It seems the city council does spend a considerable amount of time trying to find someplace they can put one of these "round abouts". Obviously they have not listened to the citizens over the many years they continually attempt to get one put at the bottom of Green Street. The majority of people that live here do not want anything to do with a roundabout and the council has not given any reasonable argument as to why we should allow them to throw our tax dollars at an experiment. I thought the options were a traffic light or a round about and the round about was much cheaper. I'm not sure we need either at that location, but I think highway engineers are better equipped to decide. They have traffic counts an accident reports and some training in how to interpret them. |
