I Can't Believe This!
Let me get this straight--you re-elect a known drug abuser/addict to the City Council and now you panic because the Mayor is getting medical treatment for a long standing, well-known problem. This place is too weird!!

Mayor needs help
I see that the Mayor spent his day of rest doing damage control and making outrageous postings on this web site.
Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski did not have anything to do with the Mayor writing stupid messages on a public email system. The reporter in the piece yesterday quoted from these emails that were dated 1/18 and 2/1 one as an implied suicide note and the other a paranoia attack. Just from the dates of these messages we can see it was not just a bad day. In just these two notes you can see his paranoia and that he has is suicidal tendencies. Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski did not cause those psychotic behaviors.
Since these emails are probably pass word protected and they were between the City Manager and the Mayor how would Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski know about them in the first place and unless they had done a public information request? At this point, I am not sure how the paper got copies of the these emails but they have them. So to say that Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski ran to the press is more paranoia from the Mayor and his supporters. I get the impression that the Mayor expected Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski to lie to the press to protect their friend. If the Mayor is such a friend to Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski why isn't he taken on the responsibly of his own words and his own actions instead of allowing the press to blindside the councilmen? Why is he blaming them for his behavior?
Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski did not cause the Mayor's divorce. That was a personal issue between the Mayor and his former wife. To now use that as an excuse for the Mayor's bad behavior is unbecoming of the Mayor and his supporters.
As I recall Ted Hackworth was the only person in the entire city to publicly defend the Mayor in his traffic accident last fall. Where were his so-called friends then? Even the Mayor's Priest didn't believe him. Maybe the Priest knows him better than the rest of us.
Let me say that I have witnessed the Mayor having a temper tantrum once. It was not a pleasant experience. Now for the Mayor and his supporters to make fun of a City employee for crying and fearing not only for her job but possible physical harm to her, well I say shame on you bullies that feel public employees are useless ponds in a game that the Mayor plays to get his way and show his delusions of grandeur.
It is very apparent that the Mayor regularly exhibits reckless behavior and with out thinking puts things in emails that are not appropriate for the public because in many cases they are or should be considered private. Yet he ends this article by saying he was not apologizing for his strong opinions.
It will be very interesting to see in the coming months what other tid bits of garbage and hate the Mayor has tossed toward Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski in these emails and then expects their allegiance.

Nice Posting, Ted
Maybe you could start using your name on your postings. It must pain you to post anonymously, being the publicity hound you are.

what?
The reporter (who happens to be a close friend of mine, thank you) who wrote the article will tell you that it was Hackworth and Brian W. who contacted him and sent him the e-mails. Just ask him....
