Maybe visit other districts
I hear all of these problems with security and one centralized entrance for the modular classrooms and most of them could and can be resolved with some simple planning and a little different configuration of the portable classrooms.
The modular classrooms that are set up at other school districts have opened up the end of the rooms to a common hall way. With that kind of configuration the classroom have one common entrance and helps having all of the classrooms within the walls of the Modular. I believe there is one like this at Reynoldsburg and also Canal Winchester schools to name two. The Reynoldsburg classrooms are right on 256 going through the city.
It appears Canal and Reynoldsburg used their noddle when buying their modulars.

Question
So Bruce, I have to ask you the question that the board, especially that new president would ask us.
What can the board do to earn back our trust and respect?
City council is burdened with paying for the mistakes of the past. I am hearing that fully 90% of the legal fees which some feel are too high can be directly attributed to paying to bail out water let in by the past. They have taken very few steps to earn back the trust and respect of the voters as evidenced by the unusual election results. Out with the old and in with the new. Problem is they threw out the baby with the bathwater. They traded dedication, commitment and experience for smooth talking politicians.
The school board is paying for sins of the past. While I personally am willing to let the Taj Mahal go, has this board and administration taken any steps to get back in our good graces? It?’s been 2 years since Brink and Reade were elected. On a very critical decision Brink sided with the union. Reade, given her monopolization of the press coverage, only had the goal of getting elected president in mind. The have made no progress and exactly like council have simply changed the names and faces but not the politics.
The issues and blame are shared by the elected and electors in this community. I don?’t think we have the talent to effectively govern any more in any of the bodies that make up this community ?– schools, councils and trustees.
So again I ask, what can the board do to earn back our trust and respect?

You Get an ''F''
Central Mom, your homework is wrong. There is such a facility at Central. It's in the old portable classrooms. Peterman has offices, crew facilities and spare parts storage in the those buildings. Get out of your recliner and go look. You get an ''F'' on this one! You're just plain wrong.
Central Dad, I own and operate a small fleet of heavy delivery vehicles and I guarantee if you try to arbitrarily change the terms of a contract with me you will pay extra or you'll be explaining why not to a district judge.

What a pity
And you, Mouse are totally missing the point. Try and engage your brain for a moment.
Do you honestly think that because all of these things exist in one location (Central) that they would need to exist in the other? You are the problem with the schools in Pickerington. So full of gloom and doom that you are totally unwilling to try whatever it takes to get the job done.
I have gotten out of my recliner and I see what the school district has done to hammer a division between the two parts of my city. Take your blinders off and you'll see that this school board is doing absolutely nothing to even out the playing field. I certainly hope you and your kids enjoy Pickerington North, the board of the past created a facility the district will be a decade in evening out.
Be honest... the true reason you feel so strongly about the topic of buses, since you certainly have not seen fit to address any the other issues in my and Dad's previous posting, is because you live in the area around North. The eye-sore that is dozens of buses in the Central parking lot is more than you can bear. But it's okay for Pickerington Central.
