Topic of the YEAR

PATA died when Bob left!

No NEWSLETTERS hanging on mailboxes! (Wish you were here Bob)

There is nothing other than this bullcrap anonymous posting!

There was a time when a human being had the balls to identify themselves as the PATA Webmaster. Now we have Looney Tunes characters creating ?“Topic of the week?”?

It won?’t be long before things are the same old same old.

Roadrunner & Coyote need to grow some?….
Keep in mind

Keep in mind this one thing. JEFF (Do you want to auper-size that?) FIX takes full credit for the PATA newsletters.

Quichyerbithcin and contact your councilman if you want the newsletter revived.
Well now...

Tell me something Mr. Anonymous,

You whine that PATA is dead. Yet your link to the site still works on your browser as well as mine. You complain that people only post anonymously, yet you do the same. You cry that the webmasters don?’t have the balls to identify themselves with names other than that of Looney Tunes characters. All the while you fail to identify yourself either.

Frankly, you are a coward and unless you begin to practice what you preach I will continue along this path. The readers and those who post to the PATA website don?’t need you. Feel free to delete the link to this site from your favorites file and go back to surfing whatever other hateful websites you enjoy.

Have a nice day!

Newsletters cost money

Dear Anonymous, the complainer:

Yes, Bob & Co. did wonderful work back then, uncovering for us, many misdeeds by city politicians. And, he and others worked hard to help control growth in the city and stop the give aways to developers in exchange for annexation. The newsletters were written by more than one person and delivered mailbox to mailbox by many. Individuals donated to the PATA cause to support these activities.

So much has changed, for the better, in recent years. Are newsletters still required? And, if they are, why not just publish them on the website? That's certainly a more economical & efficient method of distribution. I wonder how many still donate to PATA. While the org still provides a great service by publishing info, I believe this community is in much better hands than in the past and that PATA's mission is somewhat different.

Unless you're ready to publish your name, contribute to (write) newsletter articles, make monetary donations to PATA to support the newsletter, and help hang bags on mailboxes, quit your complaining.
