You're joking right?

You have got to be kidding me with this short-sightedness. TODAY as in RIGHT NOW there are enough kids to fill 1 new elementary school. So the schools are supposed to be reactive in everything they do is what I'm hearing you say?

Wait until we have enough kids in portables again after this new school is filled, which will be when the doors open and then you'll consider building another school?

You should have been on council a few years back to with the rest of the ....... who couldn't see into the future past the end of their nose!

Why is that enough?

What's your platform? What do you bring to the table? Do you have kids in the schools?

How are you going to get our kids out of trailers? Do you think we need buildings or not? What type and why?

And most importantly if you are interested why didn't you run last November?

My responses to your questions in order?…

My platform is that I will LISTEN to the voters and HEED what they have to say. The voters are saying no to these levies. Does the current school board know why they are saying no? I do. They are saying no because they have no faith in the board.

What I bring to the table?… hmmmm?…. I care about the district and am willing to put myself out there to make a difference. What else do I need?

Yes I have children in the school district.

I don?’t believe that we need to get the children out of the PORTABLES. This school district has used them for a decade and those kids turned out fine. I would suggest that we paint and refurbish them as needed.

I believe that we need to build one, larger elementary school of a very basic no frills design. There is no need to build two schools at this time. Build one, continue to use the portables and reevaluate in two years.

Who cares why I didn?’t run in November? This is perhaps the dumbest question that gets rolled out over and over on this site. Change your tune or shut up. Let?’s forget the past and move on. Unless of course you are one the school board members that read this site and fail to sign their name. If this is case, feel free to sign your resignation letter. I?’ll gladly take your seat.
