Impact fees could happen

Actually the schools could impose impact fees but they can't call them impact fees. The problem is that our school board and other elected officials are not capable of grasping the concept. However the tunnel vision illustrated by many holding key positions in the schools, the trustees, and the city can't get over the hump on how to implement the process.

I doubt if it will ever happen because of the inflated egos and uncontrolled passions and those who allow those passions to control their behavior.

Schools today cannot use impact fee's. There is a bill pending that would allow this - it's called HB299. Found this article with google:

This needs to get out of the house & voted on - Tim Shaffer is one of the bills sponsors along with Jon Peterson Olentangy's rep.
