Seperate but not equal

Posted in: PATA
north vs. south

There are tennis courts (6) at Lakeview while Ridgeview has none. So, total courts at North/Lakeview is greater than Central/Ridgeview. I guess the tennis is less popular than track because no one seems to complain about this difference.

Central has better (i.e., within walking distance) access to the library.

I've heard that Central's PAC has better accoustics than North, but that might just be one person's opinion.

Central's smaller attendance provides more athletic opportunities, for most sports.

Besides exterior materials, are the differences all in the athletic facilities?
what about discipline?

I've heard that the black kids get preferential treatment at north. Is this true? Are there more disciplinary problems at one school over another?

What about test scores? Are they equal at both schools?
Baseball Concessions

There is a softball concession stand at Central but not at North.

The softball area at Central is terrific!

The Gymnasium (Central) has been voted the most intimidating by sports reporters in Central Ohio.

Central Principal

Being an empty nester, I'm not sure about discipline in our two high schools. I do know that both have fine principals. Central's principal, however, is really something special. I wish every principal was as capable as Chuck Kemper.
