I would fully expect to see Fix go after those that circulated the referendum. Tying to dig up dirt to discredit and embarrass those citizens exercising their rights. He will be in this with the township trustees all the way up to their necks.

Wow, you can't even ask a question on this website without being attacked.

Since someone said I should have gotten involved, I started wondering how many people who post on this site attend school board meetings, city council meetings or violet township meetings who are not elected to positions that require them to attend?

Ted Hackworth posts here sometimes using his name. In my mind, you are associated with this website. The fact that you post here and say nothing about the personal insults, as well as assaults to people's character, leads me to believe you think it's OK. Who knows, maybe you're even one of the offending posters?

I wonder how many people have thought about getting involved in different causes and don't because of the bile that is regularly posted on this message board. I know there are times it has prevented me from getting involved, simply because I don't want to be associated with certain types of people. You know, the types who attack others simply for asking who an attorney for the referendum petition is.

Sometimes a question is just a question. It may simply mean someone wants to know the answer.

I am anxiously awaiting being attacked for this posting.

I received a welcome visit from a nice pair of people asking me if I'd be willing to sign the referendum petition to have the ''voters'' be the ones to decide on the Economic Agreement between the City and the township. I was NOT told ''slanderish'' things about Council members--I was NOT told how I should vote. The people were very professional and did not try to sway me one way or the other---They simply felt that such an important agreement should be decided by the voters and I wholeheartily agree with that. I certainly hope that these 2 people who came to my door are given the same respect that they gave the Council people. Not one negative thing was said. They simply were exercising their right to ask for a referendum to take place and allow the people who are going to be affected by this agreement to have a say in the matter. Please keep this in mind before bashing citizens that are only doing a service to the taxpaying, voting citizens of Pickerington.
